Fighting talk by West Brom's Paul Robinson
PAUL Robinson claims Marek Cech’s performances during his first-team absence brought out the fighter in him.
Albion’s long-serving left-back missed the victory against Spurs during the Christmas period due to a suspension.
He was replaced by Cech, who was named as the star man, and then kept his place for the FA Cup game against Peterborough.
But Robinson has since reclaimed his place, while Cech’s future is in doubt following an outburst against Tony Mowbray and a declaration that he would seek to leave the club.
Robinson, a virtual ever-present during his five-year spell at the club, said: “I’ve only been out of the team briefly under Bryan Robson when he played Neil Clement at left-back.
“That’s my character and the person I am.
