West Brom team are no soft touch - Tony Mowbray

Tony Mowbray

TONY Mowbray today launched an empassioned defence of his philosophies, insisting his Albion team were no soft touch.

The Albion boss takes his side to Everton tomorrow hoping for a much-improved outcome following last weekend's defeat at Fulham.

Mowbray remains frustrated by TV pundits, who he feels are using his side's brand of football as the reason for their League position.

He referred a statistic peddled by Sky's Andy Gray, who claimed Albion had only committed six fouls during the 2-0 loss at Craven Cottage.

"The aftermath of the last game makes me think everybody has got an agenda," said Mowbray.

"We went to play Fulham and when we lost it was almost like it was the end of the world. It was a disaster.
