West Brom legend Bomber Brown supports Bring Back Brummie Road campaign

“When I played the atmosphere used to be amazing. You’d look over at the Brummie Road and it would be jammed, heaving, and, as players, it used to make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up.

“It would give you such a lift.

“If the Bomber Squad can make that extra difference then that’s brilliant.”

He continued: “I’ve got to say it was the first I heard about this and it’s left me speechless. It’s a huge honour for me.

“I always tried my best for the club and some of the best experiences came in front of a packed Hawthorns stadium.

“It’s obviously not as easy now in all-seater stadiums but I hope it takes off and gets the place rocking.”
