ALBION players were forced to watch a screening of a feature-length horror movie ahead of their free weekend – a re-run of Tuesday’s defeat to Arsenal.
They were read the riot act and made to watch the 3-1 defeat to Arsene Wenger’s men, a loss which leaves Tony Mowbray’s men effectively seven points adrift from 17th spot.
James Morrison admits that there can be no more excuses as Albion prepare for Monday week’s trip to West Ham.
“I wouldn’t recommend the video we were made to watch before training,” said Morrison,
“We spent almost two hours going through the Arsenal game to see exactly where we went wrong and how we can put it right.
“It was a healthy and frank exchange of words, with the coaching staff and players chipping in.
“We did a lot of defensive work when we were out in Spain but if you don’t take it into the matches it doesn’t count for much.
“I’m sick of talking about it.
“We put in a good performance at Everton but I must sound like a broken record when I say it was stupid goals given away that cost us again.
“That’s why we’re bottom.”
