West Brom star demands more commitment from team-mates

FIERY Albion defender Paul Robinson has called for more passion and commitment from his team-mates as they bid to drag their way off the bottom of the Premier League and avoid relegation.
The outspoken and fully committed left-back believes some players have not shown the levels of desire and fighting spirit he would expect in a relegation dog fight and ‘Robbo’ has demanded the entire squad stand up and be counted in the closing 10 games as Albion bid to claw back a six point deficit.
Relegation three years ago deeply affected Robinson, who has just become a father for a third time to son Archie, and he said he didn’t want to go through that experience again.
The 30-year-old believes the club and the fans deserve better and he doesn’t care if he ruffles a few feathers in order to get his viewpoint across.
“I would like to see a bit more passion and commitment,” said Robinson.
“I think we have lacked that. I am not afraid to say it. It shouldn’t bother me to say it.
“I think a few more players should stand up and come out and say it themselves, that they should be more committed to the club and they should be fighting for the cause a bit more.
“The supporters deserve more and as players we deserve more out of each other.
