Paul Robinson wants repeat show against West Ham

WHEN Paul Robinson runs out at the Boleyn Ground against West Ham tonight he will be hoping for a repeat of one of the most memorable games of his career.
The combative left-back was in the Albion line-up in November 2003, when they found themselves 3-0 down after only 18 minutes but then mounted a remarkable comeback.
A Rob Hulse brace pulled them back into the game and then a Brian Deane own goal dragged them level before Lee Hughes popped up with the winner 13 minutes from time.
Albion went on to clinch promotion that season and now Robinson is hoping to create another memorable moment in the east end of London.
“That was a great day,” he said. “We were 3-0 down and we thought ‘here we go’. Then the comeback made it an unbelievable day. That will probably be one of the greatest games I have ever played in.
“There will be some great memories when we go back there again. I just hope we don’t concede three but get the three points. That is what we will be looking for.
“Hopefully we will go there with the right attitude but we know it will be a tough game.
“I would like to see the same passion and commitment from that day. Being 3-0 down away from home is not an easy task to come back from but then to go on and win 4-3, you have to have passion, commitment and character in the dressing room to do that. I am hoping we show that again.”
Albion beat the Hammers 3-2 at The Hawthorns earlier in the season and Robinson believes tonight’s clash could be equally as entertaining.
