Koren: Stoke game is West Brom's last chance to beat the drop

ROBERT Koren believes Albion must beat Stoke City to give themselves one last chance of mounting a successful bid for survival.

The Baggies are seven points away from safety with eight games left to play.

Defeat to Stoke would not only crush their own hopes of survival but also effectively leave Tony Pulis’ men out of reach.

Yet a victory against the 16th-placed Potters would reduce the gap to just five points and potentially bring Albion back into the battle against the drop.

Koren knows there can be no more excuses. Saturday week’s visit of Stoke must be viewed as Albion’s last chance.

“The next game against Stoke is very important,” he said.

“It could be a big three points.
