Koren: Stoke game is West Brom's last chance to beat the drop

“If we can get a win then I think the fight will be open again and hopefully the other results will go our way.

“If we do that then maybe the fight would be on again to stay in the league.”

Koren feels confidence and belief has not entirely drained away, despite Albion’s run of nine Premier League games without a win.

“It’s not hard to stay positive because we have shown many times this season that we can cope with this level,” he continued.

“Now we need to show it in the next few games. Of course there is a lot of pressure on us and we need to cope with that.

“That shouldn’t be an excuse or a problem for us.

“The next game is Stoke and we need to be focussed on that because we need to win four or five of the remaining games.

“There are eight games to go and we need to win as many as possible.’’
