JONATHAN Greening has backed Albion starlet Graham Dorrans to become an instrumental part of Tony Mowbray’s first-team plans.
The Scottish midfielder impressed in Saturday’s game at Portsmouth, scoring in what was only his second Premier League start.
Greening feels the 21-year-old, who arrived from Livingston for just £100,000 last summer, has the attributes and the character to make a huge impact next season.
The Albion captain has been impressed with Dorrans’ form during his outings and his application in training sessions.
“He has been superb since he’s come in,” said Greening.
“He has shown the right attitude all year waiting for his chance.
“He is a very talented young boy at 21, very young but he has definitely got the right attitude to make it as a top footballer.
