Marek Cech may make an appearance for West Brom

WEST Brom outcast Marek Cech will come into contention for Saturday's game against Wigan if Paul Robinson fails to recover from an ankle injury.

The Slovakian international has been out of the picture since Albion's FA Cup replay at Burnley.

The player has made no secret of his desire to leave the club following his failure to nail down a regular spot.

There have also been disciplinary issues which have not helped his cause.

But Mowbray hopes Cech will produce a professional performance if required.

"I'm waiting for a call on Paul Robinson so will see what the outcome is," said Mowbray. We will wait and see what he outcomes of the scans is.

"Marek will come back into equation.

"He's a player who's done well for us when he's played.

"Marek's been unfortunate in that I've chosen Paul Robinson over him.
