West Brom boss can't mask his delight!

"I'm not trying to be sycophantic but it's quite humbling to have a support that's so supporitve of a team that's bottom of the league.

"I'm disappointed and frustrated with the season we've had yet some fans are, somewhere within - whether it's humourous or not - I don't know, being very supportive.

"The buck stops with the manager and I take responsibility for our predicament.

"I hope we can give our fans success. It would be great to stay up for them by winning our last few games."

Organiser Dean Walton hopes all fans will put on their Tony Mowbray masks just before the kick-off.

He said: "At Ewood Park, Blackburn at precisely 15.59 on Sunday May 24th 2009, West Bromwich Albion fans intend to create a unique piece of football history.

"Despite a disappointing season in The Premiership, every Albion fan in the away end at Blackburn Rovers will put on a specially commissioned Tony Mowbray mask in a mass show of support for the Baggies manager.

"The masks will create a unique sight never before seen at a football match anywhere in the world.

"It was Mask-arade who supplied hundreds of Kevin Phillips masks as West Brom collected the Championship Trophy at Queens Park Rangers last year. This time the company intend to go one step further and ensure thet every Albion fan has a mask.
