West Brom boss Tony Mowbray: I won't dwell on other teams results

“Sunday is potentially a very intriguing game depending on what Manchester United do and what results happen on Saturday.

“We might have a scenario where both teams are desperate to get a victory. Let’s wait and see.”

There is a train of thought that all games should kick off simultaneously during the final few weeks of the campaign.

But Mowbray believes his side may be helped by their late start.

“When we go into the game we’ll all have a feel of what is required and that’s a benefit ultimately because if a point is no good and you are 1-0 down with half-an-hour to go, it’s no good keeping the same formation and trying to keep it a nice, tight game still,” he added.

“We’d need to do something different, so there’s the benefit. It helps you in how you react to situations – when to go cavalier or how to play because you know what is required.

“It’s obviously a benefit.”
