WEST Brom striker Roman Bednar has been suspended by his club over allegations he bought cocaine just days before today’s crunch league match against Liverpool.
The 26-year-old Czech international was pictured seemingly paying a drug dealer £420 for a bag of cocaine and cannabis only hours after playing in his side’s win against Wigan last weekend.
The pictures emerged this morning and were reported in the national press.
A club statement reads: “Roman Bednar has been suspended while the club conducts an internal investigation into the matter.”
