Simon09: Blues Board are already misleading the fans again. We expect to sign up to 10 new players. We sign Carr, so Sullivan says that's the first of up to 10 new players - he's not new, he was with us last season.
Same as we will sign a £10m player a few years back. That being Forsell who we signed from having him on loan the year before, and the £10m was over 3 years inc wages. We've wised up to this now...
Oldgit: David Gold is a brilliant chairman, but he has to spend so much time clearing up the "gaffes" made by the other David and unfortunately now by Karren Brady. I believe that David Gold only agreed to go along with selling the club to the Chinese because he had a gentleman's agreement with Mr Sullivan to do so(without Mr Gold's shares being put up for sale, no deal would have gone through).
I beg the 2 culprits to keep to the boardroom any comments they may want to make to the manager & not air them in public.
Baggy1: I'm sorry, but it appears that there is a big misconception about what is going on at the Hawthorns compared with St. Andrews. The 'ruffle of our hair' approach by the blues fans suggesting that we never really had any expectations are ridiculous bordering on the dillusional (SPJC52!).
The reason why the West Brom fans gave such a reception to the management and players on sunday shows the vast majority of us realise that this is a long journey and that we are taking a long term view knowing that slowly the pieces of the jigsaw are falling into place.
We have the infrastucture (a full 4 sides to the ground btw) including a fantastic youth system that is starting to produce.
We have a stable ship financially. We have the right manager who plays the right type of football if we want to get anywhere. And we have a group of players that are nearly right - two or three good additions in areas that Mowbray has recognised he has made mistakes with and we will be there.
In the meantime you lot down the blues can patronise all you want but until you realise that the attitude of 'I want it now' is the one that screams of the less mature group of fans.
As for us not understanding expectation and a winning mentality, ask yourselves who has got the longer honours list and succesful history.
