OSSIE Ardiles has warned West Brom boss Tony Mowbray that the grass may not be greener at Celtic.
Ardiles remains the most-recent surviving Baggies manager to be ‘poached’ by another club, leaving the Hawthorns to join Tottenham Hotspur back in 1993.

Albion had just been promoted to the second tier but the emotional pull of joining Spurs, where he made more than 200 appearances as a player, proved too strong.
Ardiles’ 18 month managerial reign at White Hart Lane was unsuccessful and he has since conceded that leaving Albion was his biggest regret in football.
If Albion and Celtic can agree compensation then Mowbray will need to decide whether to join a club where he spent an emotionally charged four years of his playing career.
He could be the first Baggies manager since the late Ray Harford, who quit Albion for QPR in 1997, to leave for another club.
Ardiles lifted the lid on some of the emotions he went through before his decision to join Spurs.
