LEON Barnett claims he has learnt from last season’s mistakes as he prepares for West Brom's return to the Championship.
Speaking from the club’s hotel in Ptuj, Barnett claims that Albion’s Premier League campaign perhaps came a little too early in his development as a player.
But the fit-again centre-half, who missed the end of last season through injury, hopes to make up for last season’s relegation by helping Albion’s Championship assault.
He said: "I personally have learned a lot from playing in the Premier League.
"I can’t speak for the others but the style of football was so different to the Championship, the pace was higher and the quality was obviously better.
