JONATHAN Greening has spoken out to reassure Albion fans that he will not ‘rock the boat’ in his quest for Premier League football.
As reported in yesterday’s Birmingham Mail, Greening handed in a transfer request last week following a meeting with Albion’s officials.
And the Albion captain has now decided to explain his side of the story, by effectively releasing a statement to clear up certain issues which he feels have been misreported.
He insists that he has not rejected a new four-year deal and denied claims that he was ‘furious’ with the club for rejecting Fulham’s recent offer - Greening’s demeanour during training this week would certainly back that up.
