West Brom eyes signing up Premier League players

ROBERTO Di Matteo has promised to use his Premier League contacts to try and bolster Albion's Championship squad.
The Baggies head coach will still have contacts at former club Chelsea, where he spent six years, and is good friends with West Ham boss Gianfranco Zola.
In addition, his No2 Eddie Newton was head of Chelsea' academy before he joined Di Matteo at MK Dons so will be aware of any young talent at Stamford Bridge.
But Di Matteo admits that Albion may need to take their place in the footballing food chain.
He feels that the bulk of transfer business may not be concluded until later this month, with Albion still having longer to utilise the post-August loan window.
"Chelsea isnt the only place that we would look at," Di Matteo told the Birmingham Mail.
"We look where we can find interesting players that could be useful to us.
"Chelsea is definitely a place but Manchester City, West Ham, Tottenham, Arsenal are all places we could look at.
"Wherever the players are, weve got the contacts.
"Most managers want to keep their squad for pre-season so they can have a look at all their players, then they start releasing one or two on loan round about now.
"Earlier this week we saw a few going out on loan.
