West Brom boss calls for good away form

“I don’t set targets in terms of points but we have our main goal, promotion, and we will work game by game towards that goal.

“I will take it game by game and try to do the best we can in every game.

“Everybody knows more or less what you need to go up but I’m not going to say ‘we need this amount of points’, I’m going to try to win every game.”

Di Matteo feels Nottingham Forest, who spent in the region of £4million during the summer, will be a major force this season.

“I wouldn’t put them in the group of surprise teams because they have signed some very good players and spent quite a large amount of money,” he continued.

“They will be contending and they will be a good team.

“Beating them away would be fantastic. It would be a great result.”
