WEST Brom have rewarded Youssouf Mulumbu with a new deal - just a month after he cemented a permanent move with the club.
The Baggies have acted swiftly to tie down the DR Congo international to a new deal following his impressive start to the season.
Mulumbu signed a one-year deal, with a further 12 month option after completing a £175,000 transfer from Paris Saint Germain only last month.
But, such has been his form, that Albion have extended his stay by a further year, meaning that he has effectively signed a three year deal, assuming the Baggies take up their option for the final 12 months.
Team-mate Robert Koren has been impressed with the young midfielder's impact at The Hawthorns.
"When you arrive in a new country and a new club you always need a bit of time to settle in," said Koren about Mulumbu, who first signed on loan last January but was hampered by injury during his inital stay at B71.
