Jonas Olsson says West Brom's trip to Middlesbrough is real test

“If we go there and get a good result I would be happy with that.

“I think when you’re summing up the season I believe that come May it’ll be these three teams at the top.

“The first six or seven games have shown this trend. We may get one or two others but I think this is what many people will expect and what will happen.”

Olsson admits there is concern that Albion have conceded early goals in their last two games, before going on to score three times on both occasions to claim victories.

He reckons there can be no such sloppiness at the Riverside.

“Whoever we play we know we have to stay tighter than we have in the last two games,” added Olsson. “It’s something we need to work on before we play there.

“We went one down in the last game but fought back and won comfortably.

“It’s the first few games, we’re trying to get settled and starting to get into a rhythm but we need to do better.

“To come from behind in two games proves we’ve got the winning mentality which we lacked last year. It helps the confidence, no question, but we don’t want to be running uphill in every game.”
