James Morrison hopes to make up for lost injury time with West Bromwich Albion

JAMES Morrison will be desperate to make up for lost time, according to his Albion team-mate Chris Brunt.
The Scotland midfielder has been out of action since suffering complications with a blister on his heel.
What should have been a routine removal procedure was made worse when the scars became infected, necessitating emergency hospital treatment.
As a result, Morrison is still yet to kick a ball this season and watched last weekend’s game against Plymouth wearing his flip-flops to ensure the wound continues to heal.
But he is starting to show signs of improvement, which is pleasing Brunt who feels Albion have felt his loss.
“It’s a frustrating time for Mozza, as it is for everybody when they’re injured,” he said.
“But I think the nature of his injury probably makes it a bit different to what most of us have seen before.
“It’s just one of those things that needs time to heal.
“He is tearing his hair out and probably has been for the last few months, but it can happen to anybody in football at any time.
“I think he will come back a stronger lad for it and it will be good to see him back because he will definitely be a big player for us when he is fit.”
Brunt admits that Morrison – and any other sidelined players – will find it difficult to break back into the side once they lose their place.
