James Morrison hopes to make up for lost injury time with West Bromwich Albion

The overall contribution to the Baggies’ team has been underlined by 11 different goalscorers this season, not including own goals.

“If the team is winning and you’re not playing it’s going to be harder to get back in,” added Brunt.

“The way we have been playing this year has been more of a team effort from everybody, rather than individuals winning matches.

“If you look at the goals we’ve scored, they have come from all over the place. The last time we were in the Championship we had three strikers scoring 15 goals plus.

“That would be nice to have but at the moment there is nobody really sticking their nose out and scoring a lot, so the more goals we can score from midfield the better.

“Shelton has got two, Jonas has got two and Marek also got two at the weekend.

“Technically that’s three defenders with six goals, which is a bonus, but as long as the goals are going in and we’re winning games it doesn’t really matter who scores them.”
