West Brom boss hopes to avoid loan market

ROBERTO Di Matteo is hoping he will be able to get by with his patched-up West Brom side without the need to dip into the loan market.
The Baggies will be without a naturally left-sided player for the visit of Crystal Palace after losing Jerome Thomas to a three-game ban following his dismissal against Arsenal on Tuesday.
Joe Mattock, Marek Cech (both ankle) and Chris Brunt (knee) are also unavailable.
But the Albion boss is not panicking just yet, not least as Marek Cech can fill in at left-back.
"We have no fresh injuries from Tuesday," he said.
"Chris Brunt is very doubtful for Saturday.
