West Brom boss may rest key youngsters

"It’s difficult to get the appropriate rest when you’re playing every three days," said the Hawthorns chief.
"We also have Robert Koren who has a bit more experience and hopefully we’ll get one or two other players back as soon as possible as well.
"Having been a player, it is impossible to play 46 games at the same level.
"You will have better games than others.
"The important thing is when you’re not having a good game, you’re still having an okay game – that’s what you’re looking for.
"Youssouf and Dorrans didn’t play much last season.
"I’m sure they will get better and better as the season goes on."
Dorrans produced arguably his best display of the season in the 5-0 win at Middlesbrough two weekends ago, where he was watched by Scotland boss George Burley.
His performances in the centre of midfield have forced Robert Koren to occupy a less favoured position on the flanks.
But Di Matteo claims that the high level of Dorrans' outings gave him little choice.
"He’s a talented player," added the Italian.
"The fact, if he has a good season, that will certainly help him get into the Scotland squad.
"I think he’s got the ability to play at international level.
"He’s done very well for us so far.
"He didn’t play much last season so it’s a matter of getting him to play week in, week out and him perform consistently at a high level.
"The centre is probably his best position.
"He’s played out wide as well a few times and has shown he is an intelligent player when he has played there as well."
