CRAIG Beattie claims West Brom suffered an off day, insisting that they would be among the promotion candidates come May.
The Swansea striker scored on his first return to The Hawthorns, about seven weeks after swapping the Black Country for south Wales.
But Beattie felt that Albion were simply off-colour last night and backed them to challenge at the end of the season.
"Albion are top of the league for a reason but they just weren't at it last night," he said.
"They didn't work our keeper enough.
