Enjoy goal glut while it lasts, says West Brom boss

ROBERTO Di Matteo joked that Albion fans should not get too used to seeing big-scoring victories.
The Baggies have notched 11 goals in their last three games, including nine in the two most recent Hawthorns fixtures.
Albion, who remain top of the Championship ahead of Newcastle’s game at Preston tonight, extended their lead over the chasing pack.
Di Matteo said: “Looking at the other results it was a good day for us. I thought it was an excellent performance. We started from where we finished before the international break. You’re always a bit concerned as to whether you can keep that momentum going.
“I’m very pleased with the performance but it’s not going to happen all the time.
“We’ve scored a lot of goals in the last few games – but don’t get used to it!”
Di Matteo was satisfied to consolidate Albion’s position in the automatic promotion places. “It was a good day with the other results,” he continued.
“We just plan day by day and I don’t pay too much attention to the table right now.
“There are still not that many points between the teams in the top half of the table and it only takes a couple of defeats.
“As we saw previously, it only takes two games where you lose form and then you’re right back in the mix.”
