Stud Marks: Jonathan Greening exits with a Birmingham City shirt

JONATHAN Greening left St Andrew’s clutching a Blues shirt to add to his five-year-old son Troy’s ‘pyjama collection’.

The former Albion midfielder, now with Fulham, explained: “It was Kevin Phillips’ shirt, signed.

“It’s for my son. It started last season. Every time we play away I try and get him a shirt. Whether we win or lose he wears them to bed instead of pyjamas.

“He’s the naughty one, he put black biro on my sofa two days after we bought it. He’s the one who cheered for West Ham, not me, when we were live on Sky! He’s football mad though and has probably got about nine or ten shirts now.”
