Stud Marks: Why dinner for the West Brom team is on Joe Mattock

JOE Mattock will be treating his Albion team-mates to dinner in accordance with the ‘former club’ rule within the camp.
The ex-Leicester man, who was carried off with a foot injury against Bristol City on Saturday, helped Roberto Di Matteo’s men to victory at the Walkers Stadium.
Captain Scott Carson is hoping Chris Brunt will be the next one to put his hand in his pocket after this Saturday’s game at Sheffield Wednesday.
“There’s a little rule that if you beat your old club then you have to take the lads out for a meal – hopefully Brunt will have to do the same after next Saturday,” he said.
Stud Marks can’t help thinking that this idea is a little flawed – after all, Youssouf Mulumbu and Gonzalo Jara can rest easy, as there’s little chance of Albion facing Paris Saint Germain or Colo Colo any time soon.
