Graham Dorrans reassures West Brom fans: I’m happy where I am

GRAHAM Dorrans has reassured Albion fans: “I’m happy where I am.”
The midfielder has, not surprisingly, found himself linked with other clubs.
Albion have absolutely no intention of cashing in on the young midfielder.

It would be easy for Dorrans to give lip service or side-step any questions about his future, but the Scotland international’s response was convincing.
“No-one has said anything to me about it so I am just concentrating on my football,” he said
“I am happy here so I don’t see why it would affect me. I just go into the games like everyone else and focus on the game looking to get three points.
“I want to take this club back to the Premier League, nothing else.”
Meanwhile, Dorrans hopes Scotland will ensure the right man replaces George Burley.
The Baggies midfielder was handed his international debut by Burley, who was sacked following a series of poor results and the failure to qualify for the World Cup.
There has been a paucity of Scottish managers willing to express an interest, which suggests that the SFA may look overseas.
Commenting on Burley’s departure, the young Glaswegian said: “I am disappointed. He is the man that gave me my chance and put me into the fold.
“But managers come and go. That’s football and you just have to get on with it.
“When any new manager comes in it’s a fresh start so everyone will be on the same level when the new man comes in. We’ll see what happens.
“It’s not for me to say who it should be. The people in higher places will make those decisions.
“These days there are a lot of foreign managers and I’m sure they will get the right man for the job, whether he is from Scotland or anywhere else.”
