West Brom's Simon Cox insists he is ready for Premier League action

SIMON Cox insists he is more than ready to tackle the Premier League.
The ex-Swindon man netted twice in Albion’s 4-1 victory against Leicester on Tuesday, maintaining his excellent statistic of having never been on the losing Baggies side when he has scored.
Cox has undergone a transformation from a striker to a midfielder during his spell under Roberto Di Matteo, having last played there during his time at Reading.
But he has become a victim of Albion’s excellent start to the Premier League campaign.
He has made just two appearances as substitute in the top flight this season, amounting to about 42 minutes on the pitch.
Cox feels he is now in good shape to slot into Di Matteo’s side when needed.
“I am 100 times better than when I joined Albion,” said Cox.
“When I first came to West Brom I was a young lad who didn’t really know a lot and had just played a few games.
“I’d had a good season but it was a League One season and I had to prove to the lads who had just come down from the Premier League that I could mix it with the big boys.
“I am now in the Premier League and if you asked a few of them they would say they have seen vast improvements in my game.
