Newton: Morrison is back to his best says West Brom coach

JAMES Morrison is finally back to his pre-injury best, according to Albion No.2 Eddie Newton.
The midfielder effectively missed all of last season due to a series of complications to infected tissue around his heel.
Even when he did return, Morrison never really caught up with his physical or mental fitness until pre-season training during this summer.
He openly admitted how fed up he was during his injury saga, with a series of setbacks hampering his progress.
But Newton has been impressed with what he has seen of the Scotland international so far this season.
Such has been Morrison’s form that last season’s Player of the Year Graham Dorrans has been unable to claim a regular place in the starting XI.
Newton believes Morrison is starting to reproduce the kind of performances he showed during Albion’s last Premier League campaign under previous boss Tony Mowbray.
“When I came here I knew that technically he was very good and I was really looking forward to working with him,” said Newton.
