SCOTT Carsons status as West Brom captain will make no difference to the clubs coaching staff when they decide whether to play Boaz Myhill against Blackpool.
Myhill played in Saturdays FA Cup game, which was always the intention.
But Roberto Di Matteo must now decide whether to stick with out-of-form Carson or give Myhill his first Premier League start for the club.
Di Matteo has always stayed loyal to his skipper but will be mindful of Carsons recent errors.
Eddie Newton, Di Matteos No.2, insists Carsons status as club captain will not be a hurdle when the final decision is made before Satudays game against Blackpool.
Scott being skipper makes no difference, said Newton.
Every decision is hard because every decision impacts on the club in some way or affects a game.
