JONAS Olsson believes West Brom must rediscover their form during February to avoid entering the final two months of the season with a ‘knife at our throats’.

The Baggies have misfired for most of December and January, securing just two victories from eight league games.

February will be crucial to Albion’s prospects of survival.

They take on Wigan at The Hawthorns next Tuesday, before travelling to Manchester City the following Saturday.

Roberto Di Matteo’s men then host West Ham and Wolves before seeing out the month at Stoke City.

Olsson feels the coming four weeks will be critical.

“We have an important month coming up and we have to be ready,” he said.

“I think it is an important month but it’s so tight that there are going to be teams involved in the race for the title and the race for staying up until the very last game of the season.

“Last time we were here they counted us out in February. We didn’t make it but we made a push for it and we’re a few points better off this time and we’re in a better situation.

“Hopefully we will get some good results in February and March and we can approach the games in April and May without a knife at our throats.
