JONAS Olsson is determined to put the 3-1 Wolves defeat behind him by picking up victories in Albion’s final two games of the season.

The Swedish international admitted Albion left it too late to mount a challenge in their derby game against Wolves after falling three goals behind.

He refuted the suggestion that Albion had eased off due to their survival, which was confirmed mathematically on the basis of results on Saturday.

But he is keen to finish the campaign on a high.

“We need to bounce back strongly,” said Olsson.

“We’ve had a good season and we don’t want to finish it with a bad taste.

“We need to put it right on Saturday.

“Whenever I lose I want to get back out there.

“We need a good result against Everton and Newcastle and finish in the top half of the table – we need to set things straight.

“I’m disappointed after yesterday but it doesn’t take a shine off the bigger picture.

“We don’t like to lose to our biggest rivals.

“We lost the battle yesterday but we know we’ve won our war and now we want to finish on a high.

“We’ll think about this for a couple of days but we will be ready for Saturday.”

Olsson claimed Albion paid the price for inidividual mistakes.
