Zoltan Gera close to first West Bromwich Albion game since his summer return

Zoltan Gera

ZOLTAN Gera could be set for his first appearance for Albion since his summer return to the club.

Roy Hodgson revealed the Hungarian was fit following his recent foot injury, with Peter Odemwingie also available for the trip to Norwich.

But less likely, certainly at this stage, is Shane Long, who was forced out of international duty with a calf injury.

Gera missed the opening games of the season due to a summer operation on his foot, but also because he was suspended for the first three games anyway.

Hodgson is pleased to have the 32-year-old, who last played for Albion in 2008, back in action.
