ROY Hodgson praised Somen Tchoyi’s impact following his late goal at Craven Cottage.

The substitute scored Albion’s equaliser just five minutes after coming on as a 77th-minute replacement for Simon Cox.
Hodgson, who was given an excellent reception from Fulham fans, was delighted with the Cameroonian’s impact.
“Tchoyi is a dangerous player,” said Hodgson.
“He’s unpredictable but he has got ability.
“At one-nil with about 12 minutes left to play I thought I’d give him a chance.
“An opportunity came his way and he took it well. It wasn’t easy but a good strike on goal.
“I think he is more than capable of playing from the start.
“But we are without a lot of players at the moment.
“The two full-backs we normally have at right-back were missing, we had Jerome Thomas missing, we had Shane Long missing, so in fact we were unbalanced.
“And when you bring Somen on you do worry that what he might be able to replicate offensively he might not be able to replicate defensively.”
