Putting Wolves first was right decision says Sylvan Ebanks-Blake

SYLVAN Ebanks-Blake insists his decision to withdraw from England under-21 duty has left him feeling fit and raring to go for Wolves’ Premier League adventure.
Ebanks-Blake chose to miss out on competing in the European Championships in Sweden with Stuart Pearce’s Young Lions in favour of resting and recuperating.
And, while the top scorer of the past two seasons is fiercely patriotic, after overcoming knee, ankle and back problems, he is glad he put club before country.
“Only time will tell, but looking at myself mentally and physically, I feel refreshed and ready to go again,” said Ebanks-Blake.
“The important thing for me was to come back and be ready to go again, which is how I feel now.
“I wasn’t going to be selected simply because of the injuries leading up to the end of the season.
