Foley: We wanted more than a point

Kevin Foley

WOLVES defender Kevin Foley took some pride in last night's clean sheet at Leicester - but admitted the team would have been far happier returning from the Walkers Stadium with a win.

And the in-form full back acknowledged that picking up points away from home coupled with turning Molineux into a fortress is the only way for Wolves to become promotion material.

"It wasn't a bad point and it was a clean sheet but we're disappointed not to have all three," Foley said after last night's 0-0 draw.

"It was one of those games where we had to be tight at the back and take our chances if we could. We knew they were going to make it difficult for us even them being at home because we like to play football.

"As the game went on they resorted to long ball a bit which isn't our style but a point's a point at the end of the day.

"It was like Plymouth where they also went a bit long ball towards the end but it's two away points from two games and if you do that with the odd win, and win your home games as well, that's promotion material."
