Wolves hoping Loftus Road run continues

WOLVES will put a formidable Loftus Road record on the line tomorrow having not been beaten at QPR in their last NINE visits.
It was January, 1984 when Wolves last lost on a visit to Shepherd's Bush, when a team including the likes of John Burridge, Geoff Palmer, Danny Crainie, Tony Towner and Sammy Troughton were on the end of a 2-1 reverse.
Since then Wolves have won three and drawn six of their visits to what has become something of a happy hunting ground.
It was on this very weekend last year that Wolves last headed to Loftus Road on what proved a landmark afternoon.
Michael Kightly struck his first Wolves goal to secure a 1-0 win, which ended a run of four successive stalemates at the venue.
