Midfield hit as Roy Keane recalls Carlos Edwards

WOLVES manager Mick McCarthy will be forced to reshuffle his midfield tomorrow after Sunderland recalled Carlos Edwards.

McCarthy was already resigned to losing his skipper Karl Henry, who has a one-match ban after collecting five yellow cards.

Roy Keane has now opted to recall Edwards in the light of an injury crisis at the Stadium of Light.

Edwards’ absence is a blow for Wolves as the midfielder has improved over the past seven weeks and was instrumental in setting up both goals against Southampton in the 2-1 win.

Michael Gray and Darren Potter are the likely candidates to plug the midfield gap.
