MIDFIELD dynamo Dave Jones doesn’t mind who he plays alongside tonight as Wolves tackle Sheffield United in a potential Championship cracker.
Jones joined forces with David Edwards in central midfield during Saturday’s 2-0 beating of Blackpool as regular partner Karl Henry had to serve a one-match ban.
The likelihood is Henry will be recalled to lead the side tonight and Jones said: “He’s a great person to have on the pitch, particularly for me as he’s directly alongside.
“When Dave came in against Blackpool, he did a great job and I think we worked very well together.
“Chris Iwelumo took over the captain’s role from Karl and did really well, scoring the all-important goals, but I’m not too sure about his speech in the middle.
“I’m not even sure what it was! He almost seemed a bit nervous. Karl usually does all that – he’s a brilliant captain who takes a lot of responsibility.”
