Alan Gow is fit to roar for Wolverhampton Wanderers

STRIKER Alan Gow’s move to Wolves should be finalised today after the 26-year-old underwent a medical last night.

Gow’s expected move to Molineux, said to be worth £250,000, was going through the formalities yesterday after the player agreed a two-and-a-half year contract and he is expected to make his debut against Preston at the weekend.

Manager Mick McCarthy has been an admirer of Gow’s for some time and tried to sign the striker 18 months ago when he was with Falkirk.

Gow’s superb performance while on loan with Blackpool during the 2-2 draw with Wolves at Bloomfield Road recently has persuaded McCarthy to make another bid and this time he has been successful.
