MICK McCarthy faces a delicious selection headache with four key strikers at his disposal for this evening’s trip to Ashton Gate to take on Bristol City.
But the Wolves boss faces a defensive dilemma with left-back Stephen Ward likely to miss the televised game tonight after fracturing his shoulder in Tuesday’s 2-0 FA Cup third round victory over Birmingham.
Wolves do have right-back Kevin Foley back however after the player missed their last two games with a hamstring problem.
McCarthy has competition for places up front after Andy Keogh and Sam Vokes impressed in Tuesday’s 2-0 FA Cup third victory over Birmingham.
Both are now up against Chris Iwelumo and Sylvan Ebanks-Blake – the Wolves duo who have scored 31 times already between them so far in the league this season.
