Wolves: Chris Iwelumo in pledge to regain Wolves form

BIG Chris Iwelumo admits his slump in form for high-flying Wolves has hit his Scotland career but intends to get both on track starting against Plymouth this afternoon.

The striker is desperate to get back in Mick McCarthy’s starting line up having to be content with appearances from the bench in recent games.

He has scored an impressive 15 goals this season but has not hit the net since November.

The 30-year-old said: “I have played about 78 minutes of football in total for Scotland and what will be will be and what comes will come.

“If the manager thinks I am not doing it for Wolves and therefore won’t pick me then I will have to take it on the chin. It is not something I am even thinking of.
