Wolves striker Iwelumo: Ugly matches ahead

WOLVES striker Chris Iweulmo has warned supporters that things are likely to get ugly in the coming weeks as the club looks to scrap and grind results out if necessary.

Iwelumo’s Championship-leading side have now won only once in 11 games and suffered a shock 1-0 defeat at the hands of struggling Plymouth Argyle at Molineux at the weekend.

It is Crystal Palace up next tonight and the striker believes Wolves’ fans will have to accept that things may have to change as Mick McCarthy’s side look to pull themselves out of their current rut.

Iwelumo is adamant, however, that Wolves will get still get to the Premier League this season.

“We will be promoted – I’ll tell you that now,” the defiant striker vowed.
