The pressure's on, admits Wolves boss Mick McCarthy
Mar 16 2009 by Lisa Smith, Birmingham Mail
“If that doesn’t put a pressure on me then tell me something that does. That is my pressure. I don’t care about anyone else – it is me and the players. If you don’t think that doesn’t add a bit of pressure on me and relief when we win, then there is something sadly wrong.”
McCarthy admitted relief too at seeing Reading’s demise, leaving just Blues now clipping at his side’s heels.
He said: “It would suit me fine if Reading were to be like this until the end of the season but I don’t really wish them any bad luck because as long as we win our games, no one else can do anything about it.”
