Michael Kightly loss a massive blow, says Wolves skipper

CAPTAIN Karl Henry has admitted the loss of Michael Kightly is a “massive blow”, but has promised Wolves intend to make sure, when the winger returns, it will be in the Premier League.

Henry said the Molineux dressing room was “gutted” that Kightly will miss the last six games of the season after he suffered a broken metatarsal in his left foot during a training game.

“It’s really disappointing and everyone is gutted for Kights,’’ said Henry.

“I’m feeling for him right now because he so wanted to finish the season.

“We’ve got such an important run-in and he’s such an important player for us. It’s a massive blow.”

The Wolverhampton-born midfielder said he understood how the England Under-21 star would feel missing the run-in as he had been in a similar position himself.
