Michael Kightly loss a massive blow, says Wolves skipper

“I’ve missed games at the end of seasons and was saying that to Kights,’’ added Henry.

“Touch wood, I’ve been okay since. I missed five out of six games at a vital time last season and the year before was out for the last two and a half months.

“It is gutting, especially after you’ve worked hard all season.

“But amid all the disappointment it’s a massive plus that we’ve got Matt Jarvis coming back and Kyel Reid, who played well in Tuesday’s friendly with Shrewsbury.

Henry added: “We’ve got players who can fill the gap and have got to remain positive, even though we know we’re going to miss Kights.

“We’ve got a good squad of players and it is down to us now to make sure that the next time he does play it’s with us in the Premier League.”
