We’re not a ‘yo-yo’ team says Wolves boss Mick McCarthy

McCarthy is not one for making predictions on how his young side may fair.
“I’m not saying how or where but just staying in the Premier League and getting stronger would be a success,” he said.
The former Ireland boss added: “Being recognised as a Premier League team would be a measure of success.
“But then just staying up there is viewed as a success to teams that have gone up before and that’s not being negative.
“It’s probably the ambition of all the teams in the bottom half of the Premier League to simply stay in the league and to avoid relegation.
“Take out the top six or eight teams and the rest just want to stay there.”
McCarthy continued: “The plan now is to stay in this league and then stay in it again and get stronger and improve like we have as a club over the last three years.
“The ambition is to keep doing that, to keep building and growing and getting better and better.”
